one of the most important things about surviving the wild is a shelter, and nature provides us with the best shelter around, dirt... so if you're stuck out in the wild and need a place to sleep, just take a dirt nap. there's a reason nekkid mole rats live underground, it's because dirt is an excellent insulator.
*digs a 6 foot deep hole in the dirt and takes a snooze*

the joys of pet parenting lol... it's not that bad, it's not like your dog is tearing up your things, i had a dog that did that, then one day he chewed on a live power cord for the fan, that put an end to his chewing problem, he survived, but the scare made him wary of chewing on anything that weren't his toys
