Can any male take a joke during texting ??

Depends on the guy I suppose. I wouldn't ever do that. I might have something come up and have to go. But I am not at all sensitive.

Tone of voice can be difficult with text, especially if the male in question has Asperger Syndrome.

It depends how it's worded. Text communication can be very problematic and easily misunderstood.

Depends what you said of course. But yes, e-mails texting can be very poor mediums for jokes, sometimes people can't tell you're being ironic.
