How to make my girl feel safe?

She struggles with mental illness and the therapist told me I need to make her feel safe. Which I pretty sure I do. There has to be more to it

Oh hon - be careful.

Mental health in internal thing... Honestly - when the bad times hit - there's usually nothing anyone on the outside can do!

It's good you want to help - but never assume that you can!

Maybe be a rock of calm when her world starts to crumble?

It's hard to say - I don't know her, or her problems. Had problems of my own - and know that calm people help me by... Osmosis?..
Somehow it rubs off a little.
