Are there cases where a guy is actually friends with his ex wife's new boyfriend/husband?

Yeah. My stepdad became friends with my dad before he died. And one of my mom's old boyfriends became my dad's best friend for many years. I thought that was more weird...but he's been around since I was 9 so he's like family now. "Uncle" hahah 🤷‍♀️
