The only exception I can think of is when one doesn’t yet know what they want. They should just refrain from making promises they know they won’t keep. @Ksmile14

As long as you don’t know or think she’s looking for something more. I think it’s ideal to tell people from get go if you don’t see yourself getting married or moving in with someone right away.
