What's the one thing that sticks in your mind that a parent said before going out on a date?

My Catholic mother took me to the doctor and put me on the pill before I went away to college. I insisted I wasn’t “doing” anything and she said, “I understand, but you’ll be far away from home, and you might meet someone you like. I don’t want your life ruined.”
