One of the huge benefits of an arranged (NOT forced) marriage, in my case through church, is that it removes all the pressure to maintain the same romantic flames that die out so quickly in so-called romantic marriages. Of course there are many exceptions where such marriages have been long-lasting and have retained the flame throughout, but I fear that they ARE exceptions. I live a life of huge contentment without the need to 'make it work', because it was based on reality in the first place. Not everyone's cup of tea, I know
