No, it's that now there is less religious influence people are increasingly seeing they don't have to marry.. and women, who have careers etc. are increasingly seeing that they don't want to be tied down and do the traditional marriage thing.. There are many societal influences but yes, one of them is that people are freer to move on if the relationship isn't working
