Kindness, Honesty, Integrity, Confidence, Loyalty, and Trust. Being sentimental and being an animal lover is also really nice to have in a partner.

@LukeTheDuke, it took a long time to get it right, but yes, once you see all this in someone, you never look back. Too bad my younger self did not know what to look for.

Kindness and sentimentality is everything to me as well.

Yes! God bless him..he's kept every note & card since jr highschool, amongst many things. But, his love for animals I instilled, grabs me by the heart.馃挏

@SW-User, yes! I so love those two qualities in a man and even my ex had that. It was the lack of honesty and integrity that I could not handle after 20 years.

I was lucky to find love again so late in life considering I was not looking.
