Are you from India?
lookingForLostFriendHere · 36-40, M
@Miram No. I'm African actually.
JBird · F
@lookingForLostFriendHere you're black not brown

I am African too, an Amazigh. I speak several African languages. What's your mother tongue?
Your ellipsis usage is why I asked you if you were Indian.

@Miram Xhosa. What languages do you speak?
If you are African why would you use the image of a white girl?
What is an ellipsis?

That is way far down south. Tamazight varieties, all arabic dialects, couple of Songhay dialects;
All the selfies I use are of me.

Not all of us are black ☝️

@Miram you know most North Africans prefer to be called Arabic, right?
JBird · F
@lookingForLostFriendHere oh. Sorry. I thought you were from like Sudan or Nigeria. I guess you're from Egypt

🤨 That is such a strange belief. You can be an Arab and an African. They aren't mutually exclusive. I can tag my Arab African friends to this post if you like.
That aside, I hope you're not insinuating that being an Amazigh and an Arab are one and the same.
@JBird That sounds little bit concerning. Was it by will?

@JBird I speak Xhosa and I'm from Egypt? Lol!

@MiramActually I didn't know about the Amazigh until today. Thank you for telling me. Seems like an interesting culture
Actually most North Africans are a little embarrassed of Sub-Saharan Africa. Maybe its because of the numerous problems we face compared to up-North.

I love Africa! It is home. The Amazigh tribes that live in isolation from the cities don't even believe in political boundaries. Fundamentally, north africa is your home too and yours is mine 🤪
But my passport disproves 😬

No, it is not because of the problems. Discrimination does exist, the leftovers of colonial powers, divide and conquer. Also people can be shit anywhere due to their own problems.
