he wants to know how attached you were, on one end of the spectrum you have people who after a break-up need time to heal, to mourn, to let go because their emotions were very deeply rooted while other break-up on friday and saturday are with someone else which hints that their love might be more superficial and based on serving their needs more than creating a bond.
