I think he’s just saying that at your age you’re looking at it like some fairytale but it’s not. It is so much work and dedication and energy. There are times when you want out and it comes so close you can choke on the ink. Don’t be rushed. Enjoy life, live life and become the best you. You’ll find the best person after that. 🤗

Martiage is hard and some are not good, some are good. It takes two people to have a good marriage and it's never just one persons fault if its bad. When and if you get married, communicate with your spouse.

Old people have alot of experience as compared to you so you should listen to them.

He's bitter about marriage because it's unnatural to restrict yourself to one person. That was never the intention of relationships.
JovialPlutonian · 36-40, M
@TonyPajamas fair enough.
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F
@JovialPlutonian Yet it surveys, most people say they would like to be married. And I don't agree with your assessment why he's unhappy.

@CoffeeFirst yeh like to with no experience lol I don't need you to agree so...
The older you get the more you observe. The particular person you speak of was likely hurt. Love hurts no matter the age, but when you spent a majority of your life with said person it hurts 1000% times more. You begin to question a lot of things.

Sorry, he obviously was hurt and took it out on you.
