Have you ever been through a time in your life when you were single and didn't feel anything akin to love for anyone?

Many a time. I spend a lot of time wishing, dreaming, and hoping that there would be someone. During those times I would probably have an interest or "crush" but it was never realized and nothing ever came of it. I remember those times well and I'm glad that they are behind me...not something I ever want to visit again.
