Why is dating so hard?

All I want to do is find a nice lovely lady, go on dates with her, be a real honest gentleman, sounds perfect right? But it seems it's a battlefield. I feel I mess up like all the time. I feel so stupid at times.

Well, I've never had effortless as GreenGoddess suggested and I've been around for a bit, but we are all human and see the world through the eyes of different experience. We all mess up but you can find a lady who is willing to work with you and you with her.
