Why is dating so hard?

All I want to do is find a nice lovely lady, go on dates with her, be a real honest gentleman, sounds perfect right? But it seems it's a battlefield. I feel I mess up like all the time. I feel so stupid at times.

Its a challenge not a battlefield. Haven't met a real gentleman yet but I am hoping they are real. *says the woman that hasn't dated in a year....
