It hurts, very badly. Especially when you've been together a while, and regardless of how the relationship actually went. You feel worthless and lost.

@Danny54268 The bad thoughts will permeate and linger for a long, long while. If your mind wanders, it will fall back to it. Anger, depression, anxiety, all of that will occur. Try to keep occupied.
