How can I help my miserable partner?

My boyfriend is very unhappy. He's very jealous, insecure, his self esteem is non existent, jobless and paranoid. He's been putting crap in his head and as a result he takes it out on me. He drinks and smoke, he gets very verbally abusive once he's drunk.

he has to hit rock bottom and then rebuild himself

don't let him take you with him

have 1 talk with him if you want to - and tell him to get help or you're gone

and be prepared to leave
