Is it okay for a woman to not change her last name when she marries?

In my country, women don't change their last name when they're married. They keep it, and if the couple have kids, the kids have two last names, the father's and the mother's

For example, my mom was Marlenne Calderón and my dad was José Martínez, and I am Andrea Martínez Calderón.
