well, my definition of love is basically the feeling you get when someone else's happiness is important to you. so if this person is happier alone or with someone else then let it be and wish her or him well.

I was in love with a person I have never chance with or never ever going to meet. I don't know. But I kind of accepted that he's never going to love me and it's not his fault or mine. It's not easy but I pushed myself to move on and after some time I found a guy who loves me and worth my time. I do think of my unrequited love, thinking if I got a chance to meet him, will he fall for me? But then I thought of something else. Even if I have a relationship with him, I can't guarantee it will be a long standing one. Maybe there's a reason why I never had a chance to cross my path with him. I am happy that I fell in love with an amazing person even though I never had a chance with him. I am happy I found a wonderful, sweet person who loves me and get to be with him.

In time, you get over it. You realize you're still worthy of love, and you heal. Time marches on
