What is the nicest way to cancel a date without informing them of your personal issues

I am interested, but due to some complications that I do not wish to share, I am not entirely sure when we can. I feel guilty, maybe it is best to just let it go?

Say you really are interested and for personal reasons that you really don’t want to get into that you have to move the date

I think you can say personal issues, without having to go into details. The other person should be clear on it not being about them specifically.
Things happen, they should understand.
