How do you improve a relationship if there are some aspects of it that are not satisfactory?
Assuming that both parties will communicate and it's not something outside of their control? What things do you wish would change?

I think relationships cannot be bettered without respect. If that is lost (or not obtained) the relationship is fruitless.
