Humor do men normally like men humor more then woman humour?

Hi am in a relationship and I find my partner doesn’t seem to laugh at my jokes or have similar humor very rare he laughs at something I say or makes acknowledgement. However if it’s his dad humor he is always laughing. I I introduced him to one of my male friends we had a great time he was funny this guy. Yet I have noticed he seemed to laugh with humor with men in general more then girls. If I said the same joke later on he won’t laugh but if someone else said it who is male he laughing. ?? Is this normal I knows can be funny as my friends would laugh at my jokes /humor?

That's a curious observation. Many possible explanations. Could be a role perception, maybe he just thinks of himself as the funny one in the relationship and sees you as the serious half. Men and women often approach humor from different viewpoints. If I told a bawdy joke it might be viewed completely differently if you told the same joke. Are you telling an actual joke or just making a humorous comment? If they are actual jokes, are they short one liners or more lengthy and involved. Both rely on different approaches to timing and delivery. "A termite walks into a saloon and asks, is the bar tender here?"
