Why do straight men's dating profiles look like this?

White guys: some outdoor scene (on top of a cliff, on a boat, etc), picture with the dog
Black guys: bathroom selfie, hanging with friends at some bar/club or sporting event

how do men display the other things that interest them? i guess, in general, how do you cultivate an image that has a little more depth in an online dating profile?

i don't know, i'm just wondering if there's a way to not be so generic. these guys are obviously presenting themselves in that way because they think it's attractive (not that it isn't), but i doubt that every one of them works out consistently and spends every weekend hiking in the mountains, you know? what's a way to develop more depth and individuality?

my point is that all they ever show are outdoor scenes. surely there is more to a man than standing on some cliff with his dog. (this is not about me btw... i'm not asking for tips.)
