Should I still have high hopes for finding a nice guy or just give up entirely?

Never seem to have luck when it comes dating guys in general. When in a relationship as in official status, it always ends around 1 month which sounded like a curse to me which is why I avoided relationship and such friends with benefits type.

stop looking and realize it's your best friend... everyone does this to themselves and are miserable the rest of their life.

i found my best friend, loved her for years, married her and the best years of my life was her being with me.

i wish cancer didn't steal her from me but nooooo.... now my life is shit and there's no one out there worth a trace of vomit so i'll just use my hands and cry to her home movies, pictures and memories that i hang onto like a hawk to it's prey.

how i wish i could change our destiny and get her back but this time no fucking herself up with cancer sticks... god dammit.

@SilentShadow0110 But we ALL ned friends. We all need human interaction. Ask your therapist. She will tell you. You can pretend you don't need people but you do. The hard part is finding the right people to befriend. It's ok to be picky with who you get close to. I certainly am. I have made some good friends over the years but I don't keep in touch with many of them cuz I don't always like to socialize.

Maybe you should date someone you know as friends with benefits. By that I didn’t mean with a few strangers that’s never a good idea but a friend with benefits you’re not tied down to each other so a relationship might last longer and the both of you might even fall in love.

There are plenty of nice guys in the world. You will find one eventually. You have to put yourself in a position to meet new people...guys and women. The more people you know and socialize with, the better your chances of meeting a nice guy.
