I believed that having a man who was willing to jump right in without a safety net would be exactly what I wanted.. I soon found out that actually such men didn't exist.. they were all too scared of even considering relationships.. or they were all just looking for free rides with no intention of more..

That people in relationships were, for the most part, very honest with each other. Save for a few bad apples people didn't hide things. That hasn't been my experience.
