Boyfriend won’t buy me jewellery

Should I be worried a year ago my boyfriend got me a pair of ear rings I lost one of the pins from the back of the earring . And because I lost that ear ring he won’t get me any Jewellery, I do tend to lose things with my memory, he is kind and loving and giving in other ways but he insisted on not getting me any, for occasions x he get me other things I llike Xbox games for my birthday or other stuff but one thing don’t think he got over for me losing my ear ring unsure why?

He sounds like a few of the guys I have dated. He is trying to infantize you, treat you like a child. How long have you been with him? What's his mom like? He might have mommy issues.

Been together 2 and a halve years he does treat me well though yeah his mum and my mum don’t see eye to eye she’s very controlling at times her way no way if that makes sense somtimes she can be nice my bf worry’s a lot when his mum flaps about somthing he not done

Trying to prove to his parents he can achieve things price then wrong like his mum thinks he wlll be coming home or won’t be able to afford where he lives even though up the road when he should be happy with what he achieved. Know he looking for his mums approval
