what's the longest youve not just loved someone but been actually in love with someone ?

In love and not just love....longest was 3 years. Most of "in love" is lust and attraction that usually fades off within a year or sometimes less.

@ravenwind43 i really prefer being in love i cant find a decent reason to not just be " in love" as often as possible even if it means leaving love behind

@biohak That part is easier. Once you get over the first phase is where real love and commitment sets in. It doesn't always feel as good but can have longer lasting value.
