what's the longest youve not just loved someone but been actually in love with someone ?

The best three years of my whole life, when I, in my sixties, discovered what being in love means.

In love and not just love....longest was 3 years. Most of "in love" is lust and attraction that usually fades off within a year or sometimes less.

Dunno. It's a strange thing when you've separated, because you might still love the "idea" of them, but they're constantly changing; so, it isn't necessarily them you love as time goes on, while you're apart.

If I include only interests that I've actively been with, then prolly around 2 years. If I include after we broke up, I don't even know. 5+ probably. At the same time, who's to say whether that's love or just hormones, availability, and gauged value.

A few months so far

i've made it to two years three or four times never beyond that, still love them but not what i would call in love
