How do you walk away when their presence makes you undeniably happy.

Ex wants to be friends, as do I. We talk every day, but the failed romance still eats away at me from time to time.

Is there a chance you're just focusing on the good and not the bad?
SW-User
@EveReverie That's why its hard to walk away. You're immortalising him by denying yourself the full picture, and why you failed to start with.

@SW-User you're not wrong 😔

@EveReverie I'm familiar with the concept. :) And we self sabotage ourselves, by clinging on to something that didn't really make us as happy as we believe.

No choice but to lock em in your basement.

Restraining order.

@SW-User too funny 😂

If you give it sometime, romance may build up again. It takes time. Give it sometime and keep communicating.
EveReverie · 31-35, F
@SW-User I wish, but sadly, I am doubtful of that

I'm not friends with exes
EveReverie · 31-35, F
@R5000 it isn't for everyone

It's always been one of us would have wanted more
Is he single, most probably he is 😎
You walk away if you want more than friendship and he doesn’t, and you would eventually like another romantic relationship. It’s too easy to settle, otherwise. I know this story only too well.

@bijouxbroussard I don't want another romantic relationship at this time. We are polyamorous. I would be committed to him if given the opportunity but I know the commitment isn't there on his part, despite the love we both have for each other. 😔
@EveReverie Ah, I see.
