"Every" is a strong word, but I'd say there's a dark side in most marriages. I'm sure there are some people who are simply too stupid and upbeat to be resentful of one another.

I don’t think so. I have known people who even love their partners after their death and don’t get involved with anyone else. I can’t imagine them being dark while being together. Media and novels written by perverts may differ, but reality is based on facts not just emotions.

There's certainly a private side to every marriage but no, not all marriages have a dark side to them.

I'm not sure about every marriage but I'm sure some do. I don't feel like or believe that there is in mine...we keep everything out in the open with each other and though we don't necessarily lay open our marriage to others nor do we actually hide anything either, we do choose not to reveal or discuss certain things (but would if necessity calls for it). there is nothing that either of us is or should be ashamed of.

What do you mean by dark side? A dark side is usually about the dark bad things in us. See my latest question

@SW-User yeah dark bad things like lies and betrayal
SW-User
@brokenamilliontimes Yup, that's what dark consists of, it ain't some over glorified fantasies.

There's probably secrets.. Whether they're dark or not ... Why?
brokenamilliontimes · 36-40, F
@ozgirl512 Coz I feel like there is no way one can be happy with their marriage coz there will always be a dark side to it.
