I seriously need to stop letting people set me up on blind dates... This dude wanted to know my star sign to check our compatibility... Just why?

First I got set up with a dude who kept trying to convince me to buy him expensive things like a new car or gaming computer. Now I ended up getting set up on a date with a dude who believes both in love at first sight and astrology. He said sign compatibility is important to him and started asking me the exact day and time I was born. I was just like, "You don't even need to check because I already tell you that we're not compatible..." thanked him for his time and left. Either my friends are trolling me or they seriously think I'm into some weird personality types.
I mean, believing is astrology and love at first sight is fine and all but I don't think love at first sight is real and astrology is fun but I don't take it seriously so obviously it's not going to work out with someone who genuinely believes in those things.
I'll just stay single. Maybe buy another kitten.
