What is the general opinion about a girl asking a boy out?

Nothing wrong with it, in theory. But it’s like I’ve said before; with the privilege of asking comes the price of possibly being rejected. Men have had to develop a thick skin, because women don’t always say “no” kindly. So a woman who asks risks being shot down, too.
