Anyone feel like...?

I know how that feels, for me it's the little things that count and I am always doing daily little things for my boyfriend (1.5 years we have been together) but he very rarely does any of the little things for me. The only things he does do is pay for dinner when we go out to eat (like once a week) and he buys me things for my birthday/christmas/ anniversary. I think what it comes down to is that he just doesn't know better, or doing little things just isn't his love language. This is his first relationship as well as my first relationship, so I don't have a lot of expectations and I love him anyway, he's a great guy. In my opinion it would be difficult to change his behavior because if you tell him what you'd like him to do and he starts doing it, it will seem like he's only doing it because you told him to and it's not genuine anymore.
