Do people who get married so young say In their 20s end up getting divorced very soon after ?

I’ve noticed this so much these days and I’ve started to notice older couples seem to last longer. I’m in no hurry to get married , in fact I don’t want to even want to try until I’m in my 30s , also I’m not going to attempt to have kids if I did want them until years later. I’m not trying to judge people but I think it seems very strange how it keeps happening

The problem, isn't age as much as people now a days don't put the effort into a relationship or marriage anymore. It's easier for people to walk away separate and divorce.

It takes work and effort on both sides and a lot of people won't do it.

It's like a career, put the effort into it and it will pay dividend.

Well they say the younger you get married the less your chances of it lasting, and i think there are alot of miserable married older people also but they are so set in their ways they are afraid of change (divorce) and starting over

There are actually a number of solidly reliable predictors about what is likely to result in a more durable and long term matrimony.

Political correctness has made bringing these facts to light a good way to anger close family and friends and generally intensify minor divisions in social views.

It's been widely publicized that the chances of a successful pairing is now at around 25%. If this is true then providing for youthful ignorance and increased belief in the political correctness ideal a recalibration would not be unreasonable to place on a 3% or less success rate.

I was 28 almost 40 years ago. Three old broom pilot is still here. I'm still married. We dated_/ lived together for 3 years before the funeral for 2 single people. Aka wedding.

Yea. And truth is, love ain't even a factor in a lot of marriages nowadays. It's like tax benefits and insurance reasons lol. And in your 20s... You better both be a new person by your 30s. So yea... people are jackasses but very lovable. Nobody does the smart thing
