I clean with Ammonia and it irritates my nose and throat...

It doesnt last long but will it have any permenant damage???

I've always heard you're supposed to use a face mask when cleaning with ammonia because of how toxic it is to inhale. But unless you're using it in high concentrations and for an extended period of time, I would hope you wouldn't have long term damage. Just discomfort.

DO NOT use ammonia anywhere near bleach. That really can kill you.

Nobody want to knock their ammonia levels off too far and high levels can be fatal. Use it correctly, make sure you have a lot of air flow and you should be fine.

@katielass Well while i am cleaning i have to breathe. I dont inhale it to get high 😂

@DisgruntledWookie Well, it can be harmful but since it bothers you I'd get a box of masks like surgeons wear and wear one while using any substance that is irritating. Don't wait until your sinuses are so irritated that it causes a problem. You can probably order them from amazon or find at a medical supply store or pharmacy.
