No, I think that if anything, many people start to really grow up and figure out what they want in their late 20's and 30's, which tends to make them better marriage material, or at least better relationship material. At least that's how I see it.

I heard the same thing from some people when I was in my 20's, but the people who told me that were from an older generation. Most of that generation married in their early 20's. Things are different now.

Possibly in terms of age appropriate partners, people get married or die as time goes on. But it only takes one. My parents recently attended the small wedding of a friend getting married at age 70.
