There isn’t a relationship in the world that’s perfect I honestly believe you have to work hard together as a team to make it work and when one person in the relationship can’t be bothered then the boat starts to rock.

Sometimes the boat takes it’s balance and sails well again other times it sinks lol

I have been put down and been called names if I didn't do as they expected or wasn't as good as something as they expected by several boyfriends in past not sure if classed as abuse or not

I never have, but my friend is currently in one now and amazing how fast he took all her power away - its hard to believe it is the same woman

I can sense when someone is having abusive tendencies so I leave before it happens.

Emotionally abused, he's my ex for a reason

I was a relationship where I experienced emotional blackmail. I had an awareness that it wasn’t okay, in the end I learned that I wasn’t responsible for his feelings and emotions. It was hard to distance myself from that perspective but it was such a relief when I no longer allowed him to make me feel bad or guilty for his stuff.
