Married people...how long did you date your husband or wife before you got married?

7 years. We started dating when we were seniors in high school, had a long distance relationship in college which somehow worked out, and then got married two years after finishing college.

Three years.

4 years

We got engaged after a year, and are getting married in the fall of 2019 after a year-long engagement.

Long, sad story... But the short version is we knew and dated each other on and off for 20 years before marrying.

It varies couple to couple and also if you knew each other before. It was 5 years in my case.

He asked me to marry him two weeks after we met. But we got married two years later.

Four years (we had a long-distance relationship for a while.)

2 years long distance relationship. Married 16 years.

5 years, we only got married because we wanted to have children
