Is someone refusing to let me go when hugging and saying their wanting to tie me up and keep me to theirself a red flag? Im used to people saying it jokingly but he did the whole bit where you laugh like you were joking but truly ment it? my paranoid ass could be overthinking it but im not sure anymore.

Look for other signs too. You can tell by the look in his eyes when he said it. Clearly. Review the signs. You can google them. If you see them, get the Hades out. You are too young and precious to be abused emotionally and/or physically. And believe me, they often start small. Then suddenly it EXPLODES.
