Wouldn’t it be good if you only attracted people you were attracted to?

Or at least found a way to repel someone enough for them to only want friendship.

No. I don't want anyone to be attracted to me because I like being a terrible person and it makes me feel conflicted when people like me.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick I like you.
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
I could let myself go that’s the only way around this. @BlueMetalChick
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheikYerbouti Well that makes me question your judgement considering the plethora of heinous personal insults I've thrown at you on account of your religious beliefs. Why would you ever like me after all the disgusting shit I've said about you? If someone did that to me, I'd hate their guts, and if they did it in person I've cleave their fucking head in with a hockey stick.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick I've taken a lot more verbal abuse for my religious beliefs and I'm still standing. I look for commonalities, and I try to look at the other person's point of view before judgment (I try to anyway ). We have some common political beliefs (emphasis on SOME), and similar taste in music.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheikYerbouti That would never be enough for me to consider someone likeable, especially given the nature of the disagreement. You shouln't like me. I sure as hell don't like you. And I still remember is real goddamn well, too. You told a fat fucking lie on that thread posted by GodSpeed and said that I claimed that scientists cannot believe in god when you KNEW I never said that. That's why I don't treat you with any respect. When you lie about my beliefs, you've essentially killed any chance that you ever had of me treating you like a human being.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick Without rehashing that, I stand by what I said because that's what you wrote and implied. If that wasn't your intent, okay.
This whole anti-social, tough image you project is a farce, otherwise you wouldn't be on a social media site trying to prove you're right.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheikYerbouti It isn't what I wrote, and it isn't what I implied. You pretended it was so you could take offense to something that wasn't said.

Antisocial? You think I'm pretending to be antisocial? I'm the opposite of antisocial, I'm highly social. I'm also highly aggressive though. That's why I'm on a social media site, because I'm hostile and seek out social interaction so I can fight with people. I do it in real life too but people are significantly less confrontational in person. Most people are a lot more introverted in the real world and therefore not as likely to start fights.

So no, it's not a "farce" but you can go ahead and pretend to be an internet psychologist, though I think you might have gotten lost on your way to 4chan.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick I don't need to be an "Internet psychologist" to come to that conclusion. I have no doubt you don't act this way in person, an online construct is so much easier to have because no one can see you. You can be whatever you want, have any background you want, etc. Never been on 4chan and don't plan to ever do so.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheikYerbouti Well lots of people can see me from how I behave in the videos I post on YouTube or SnapChat, so that theory is out the window.

And there's people on SW who do know me in real life, in fact I went to high school with two of them. Ask them, and they'll tell you that I act exactly the same in person.

So no, you don't "have no doubt that I don't act this way in person." You made that up, because you're a fucking liar.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick I don't believe everything I see on YouTube or Snap chat because the more outrageous you are the more likes/clicks you get. If anything it's narcissistic.

I can there's several people on here who I went to school with, and will vouch for how great I am. How would you verify that, just on their words alone?

I didn't make up that I "have no doubt that I don't act this way in person", I'm making a direct statement based upon my own opinion.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheikYerbouti You can make a hypothesis but you don't really have any way of knowing if you're right or not without meeting me in person.

I could show you their yearbook photo along with mine. Although I'd need their express permission cos that is a little dicey on their personal privacy.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick All I'm saying is an online presence is not a totally complete, or honest one. It's an artificial construct. I do believe you are who you say you are and you have a degree in astronomy. Anti-social to some extent, then most people are. But, if it's too the degree that you would have me believe, then you should be in prison by now or institutionalized. I don't get that vibe at all.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheikYerbouti
But, if it's too the degree that you would have me believe, then you should be in prison by now or institutionalized.
Well I've been to both jail and a sanitarium so you're absolutely correct.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick I've known a lot of people that have done some jail time for one reason or another. I've even known as few who have had to go to the county psych ward. But, none have done a lot of time in either or have a history.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheikYerbouti I didn't do much time either. I was declared clinically insane for about six months when I was 17 years old, and for good reason. I had a serious problem starting fires.
SheikYerbouti · 51-55, M
@BlueMetalChick Sadly once upon a time, entering an institution you automatically underwent shock treatment. That's why so many were referred to as a "shock shop".
