Is this a date?

This guy I work with just suggested I meet him in the city for drinks tonight - he ll be with some friends too. Is it a date? I haven't met his friends before, but he has met mine. We hang out a bit outside of work, sometimes just the two of us, and while there's occasionally an 'atmosphere' between us, he's dated a couple of other girls in two years I've known him. He doesn't hang out with anyone else from work, outside of work.

No, it's not a date. It's casual/friendly, but he might want to get drunk and end up meeting you in the bedroom. I'm not accusing him, but it might've crossed his mind. What about you?

@lovelywarpedlemon Well, I kinda like him. I don't think he's really into one nighters because he's quite shy. At this stage, we're mostly in the friend zone, so I think it'll be a good opportunity to see if there's anything more between us.

@lovelywarpedlemon I nearly said no! I don't particularly like venturing into the city at night by myself, even if I'm meeting people there. But I said yes, so hopefully it'll turn out ok!
