You know how much gasoline and carbon is given off recycling?

When I was a kid I worked in an aiorport. They had recycling bins. I used to watch the workers come and grab the trash from each bins, then throw them in a cart and off to the the dumpster.

While the airport customers carfully put he aluminum in the aluminum bin, paper in the paper bin, plastic in the plastic bin, they all ended up in a landfill.
