Am I overthinking this?

There's a cop who comes into my work almost every other day. When he looks at me his eyes soften. His voice also becomes super chipper and soft. When he stays to eat he sits at the table right in front of the register.Which is where I am located. I'll catch him looking at me at times. Often time when I catch him looking, he will glance away as though he was just looking around. The way he looks at me makes me feel as though there may be more to the amusement in his eyes. I'm shy, so I'm not really one to start conversations with people. I tend to just do my job and speak to the customers whenever need be. He came in one day with his buddies and I noticed that when they were about to leave he was speaking to one of his buddies and he was shifting his position to face my direction. If I walk to the other side of the building he would turn to face in my direction. Lol this has been on my mind lately. Am I overthinking this?
