I don't get it.

I've talked to a couple of different guys in the past few months, there are 2 guys in particular that I was talking to and both of them actually said that they liked me and expressed interest. One of them was ok to chat with as a friend, but I didn't feel that same way about him romantically, so I told him in a kind way how I felt. The other guy, I DID feel the same way, so I told him how I felt.

Why is it that the guy I said I wasn't interested in was still trying to contact me and see if things could work, but the guy who I was interested in stopped contacting me? I really just don't get it.

Part of me was to give up on dating.

Tell me about it. Everyone I show interest in is trying to sleep with me or not interested. Everyone I couldn’t care less about wants romantic bliss or some crap with me. I’m currently being stalked by someone who would love to know everything about me. The guy I picked offered himself up within a few days and never asks anything.

@PaleandPolluted The first part is kinda what I was thinking, which is crazy because I mean we just seemed to click, you know? he even expressed interest in visiting one day. and far as being easy, I kinda doubt that because we live in different states and already expressed waiting for sex until married because we are both Christians. He told his mom about me and everything. I don't know where to go from here. Part of me wants to message him just so that I can have a clear understanding of whats up. even if I do that and he tells me he isn't interested anymore, yeah I'd be a little hurt butI'm cool with that. I'd rather know he isn't interested anymore, than me waiting on him and trying figure things out on my own. I'm sorry that you are dealing with similar crap that I am.I hope it works out for you even if it's with someone else.

@sweetiepoo he unfortunately wanted to cut to the chase before he knew me a little I think he’s interested properly as he’s told his family. The thing is if you don’t meet it fades and they can become attracted to someone they see in person. I’m at risk of that.

I gave up on dating around 30 for similar reasons,
just done trying to figure it out
