Would you rather have someone tell tell you that they aren't interested or ghost (ignore out the blue) you?

I'd rather have a man just tell me he isn't interested than to waste my time by me trying to contact him and he is ignoring my calls/messages.

I am dealing with the hot and cold nonsense now. I’d rather just hear that they aren’t interested than having to wonder what’s up...and when they will randomly resurface. Over and over...
