It seems like everyone is willing to accept Polyandry, Swinging, Homosexuality......but Polygyny is looked down upon. Why?

Its funny how we all say "its their choice" to do different things. Like Polyandry, swinging, being gay, but when its polygyny everybody thinks its wrong. Where are the people that still believe in polygyny?

Maybe it has more to with economics. Like retirement and social security benefits and laws surrounding marriage would change.

Because it is often associated with a sense of male power over women? I dunno. I'm polyamorous, meaning anyone of either gender can have any number of partners they wish so long as everyone is offering informed consent. I've no problem with polygyny itself, so long as there is informed consent and fair power dynamics.
