When you are in a relationship and you ask the person you're with if they really love you,you should hear just yes with no "buts" after am I correct?

The man I was with said yes BUT life is short. This isn't a great answer in my opinion😐😐😐😐

I would never ask this question. This question is like a knife.

@helenS I thought the same.

@helenS It's risky but worth it if you want the truth and don't want to be with someone who's maybe wasting your time😓😓😓☺☺☺☺

@kimberlyJay That can also be true, but it also tells the man you have doubts and question his love, which does not set well with them. Anyway...isn’t it a little early to be talking of love with this man? From what I gather, this seems like not that long of a relationship. Am I right?

@kimberlyJay
Examples of bad questions:
— Do you really like the way I am?
— Do you really prefer me to other women?
— Will you ever cheat on me?

Example of a good question:
— There's an art exhibition I would like to visit. Would you like to come with me?

@kimberlyJay If you have to ask, sounds like it’s on shaky ground. If a man loves you, you’ll know it. He’ll show it.

@LadyGrace yes you're right☺☺☺

@helenS Yes. The others display insecurity.
