Mood swings are not ever totally easy to deal with, especially when they come from someone you love and care about. But with patience and understanding even the more severe ones are better weathered. On that note...How frequent and/or severe are those mood swings? Pay attention because that could be important. He may possibly have a problem that needs attention.

@indyjoe it’s normally day before work or work next day his mum seems to have an effect aswell at times

@Jadetherabbit Then just try to be there for him, be as patient and understanding with him as possible. And most importantly, know when to just back off and leave him alone without being judgemental or defensive. I'm telling you this from experience as I have had dealings with bipolar disorder.🤠
