would you prefer to date an introvert or extrovert?

An introvert, because she would be more understanding of my need for privacy.
Introvert. That way we could enjoy being together in silence.

Extrovert. My wife will talk to anybody, so I let her take the lead. That way, I don't have to ask for names or introduce myself. It makes cocktail parties a lot less stressful.

Maybe someone in the middle like me would be easier. Enjoys time with oneself, but can handle and also enjoy external engagements.

I judge em by their personality not their zodiac sign
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@wakanda4eva This question doesn't mention Zodiac signs.

A person who can be both. No extremes.
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@OpenlyHonestly There aren't many of those. Most people are either one or the other.

@NankerPhelge I wonder how is introversion and extroversion even measured. I know very few people who would be typically extroverted by nature. There are confusing definitions of introversion/extroversion too. Some say that extroverts feel energized by the presence of other people. I could be perceived as a typical introvert, however, this trait applies to me too. I can be alone for weeks and feel alright and then I get into a phase when being alone drives me crazy. I feel sick from lack of social interaction and talking to other people makes me feel alive again.

Another thing: introverts over-analyze things and think too much.
I know people who are very thoughtful and live in their head so much that they need the outlet in the form of socializing. The presence of other people makes them too busy to constantly analyze things around them. They look extroverted on the outside but if you talk to them more you'll realize that it is just a way to escape.

The more people I meet the more confusing is the whole introversion/extroversion theory. I think there's a lot of forced extroversion too because it's often a type preferred in our society.
if shes paying ill do either lol
