How do you deal with a passive aggressive roommate?

My roommate and I have been friends/roommates for a while now. I got a boyfriend about six months ago and she’s still single. Ever since it feels like she’s jealous and I sometimes feel like I’m walking on eggshells around her and that she doesn’t like my boyfriend coming around all the time. Haven’t figured out how to balance the friendship and the relationship in my life. Any suggestions?

Maybe try to arrange a few double dates with your boyfriend's mates or to include her more in your activities. She might be feeling like she's intruding you on you guys and it's never nice to feel like an intruder in your own home.

@diablesse yeah I’ve tried to arrange a double date before and she didn’t click with his friend and unfortunately my boyfriend doesn’t have a lot of single friends in this city. It’s hard to include a single person without them ending up feeling like a third wheel.

I know it is. How about setting her up with one of your friends? That might work, unless she already knows them.

@diablesse good idea but I don’t know any guys. The only guy friend I have is not someone she’s interested in (my artist friend that’s way older than us).

Maybe someone from work that you think she might like?

@diablesse lol I appreciate your brainstorming with me but we currently only have three guys in my job and two are married and one I’ve never talked to....I work in a female dominant field
